Thanksgiving is a special time of year,

All relatives come, far and near,

To see the happy faces, and the joyful sound,

To see the first snow fall on the ground,

The bird is ready; it's time to fest,

Is the bread ready; there's no yeast,

Let's raise a toast, to what we love most,

Now let's eat, and thank the hot.

Back in my childhood I did so many things...

Played with my Barbie's, bears, dolls, and other play things,

I did special things with my family every year,

Now that I'm older I hold them so dear,

I'm an adult now with my life before me,

College is starting next fall,

With new friends to meet, and more people to see,

I still think of my memories, of the old high school hall,

Memories of me playing with my kittens,

When I got the chicken pox, I wore mittens,

Playing with pups,

Eating Reese peanut butter cups.
